Hung Kee struggled in his adolescence years. Since then, he always kept things to himself but he never doubted of his good foundation values in Christ. He always tried his best, put in efforts that eventually stressed him up. He’s a perfectionist, a peace maker….

He drove me very crazy and nuts with his details of questions at times…..

Sometimes, he overwhelmed me….

When I was in doubt and challenged him to the deepest thoughts, he always showed the focus of his life and the values he hold….

Those matters to me and they’re good enough! The impact you created in my life is beyond words…. Love you always, Sanny

Hung Kee was always curious about people's thoughts. I remember him asking me many questions about why i think this or that way. And the topic at hand could be anything, from food to color. He was not trying to make conversation. He was genuinely interested in my thoughts. When i asked him questions, he took the questions seriously and answered truthfully.

Hung Kee was a person who showed himself as he was without pretense. He spoke his truth without malice or judgement. He was sincere to all he met. Hung Kee, you will be missed. Rest in peace.

We regret. We regret not finding time to meet up with Hung Kee. We are so saddened by this loss. By this loss that we hope we will always do the things that matter, such as to find time to spend with people we love, because such things matters. Thank you Hung Kee for leaving this lesson for us. We'll try to remember this and hope we won't make this mistake again. We feel such loss at your passing that we never imagined before.

You're such a warm, genuine and kind-hearted soul that no one could comprehend you that deep. You joyfully drove us around in Cleveland when Lina just arrived as a freshman. You took us to Toronto in Dec 1981. It was such a gracious act of you. One of the most memorable trip was when we drove around Tennessee and Kentucky in one summer. It was 1993. Thank you Hung Kee for sharing, for being true to yourself, for being genuine, for being you. So many times you were misunderstood but you stayed on and I know only Jesus knows your heart, struggles to understand and be understood. You will always have a special place in our heart, your legacy will always stay in our hearts.

Hung Kee was touched by God when he was schooling in Embassy International School in Jakarta between Kindergarten to Elementary3. One of his favorite teacher was Mrs Brown. She planted in his heart the seed of Christ and many other traveling stories, cookies and her family stories. Hung Kee always drove to her home to recollect the sweet memories every time we traveled back to Jakarta...

recently, he told me that he was so sorry that he had stolen her marbles from her home. The last confession that he shared with me.

I was serving VBS-Vacation Bible Study prayer team last week. I was praying the VBS prayer list before bed time. He came in the room and heard my prayer and asked me to pray for him....

We had a great moment in the marriage retreat with Pastor Alan and Lynda last March. He's at his spiritual crossroad and he's at peace with God.

Last Sunday, I talked to him about joining FBI-Faith Bible Institute together. After not much persuasion, he agree to join with me.

The last one year or so, Hung Kee had mentioned about two wishes that he's waiting to have in his life. One is earthly goal and the other is Salvation. I believe God had made appointment with him last Monday, June11, between 8pm-1am. Uninterrupted appointment, holy moment, just between him and God....

As all of you have known that he was confirmed with coronary heart attacked.

Alfred and I were away, sending the Moores family away in the airport. We were away from him about 5hour....

Based on doctor, heart attacked is a matter of split second. This was the timing with the Lord, that he spent peacefully with Him. He has called him and he's with Him....

There;s no any better ways for God to do this. Should he be with us and this happened in the car, Alfred and I might not be able to comprehend it. We supposed to travel to Bali yesterday, should this happened in Bali, we would be in a big mess....

To all IBC big family, you have poured so much love, overflowing support, prayers to Alfred, Hung Kee, my Father-in-law and Hung Kee's sister, Mei Kie. You all show Body of Christ works! Mom-in-prayer, choir, care group, member care, women ministry, youth ministry.... Hung Kee is very pleased and he sees all of us tonight.

To all ACS Primary, Secondary and ACJC friends, Hung Kee is very proud to come in as one of badminton single final defender for ACS national school competition against RI. He showed me the newspaper coverage for him when we were in courtship. I know he's very proud of his achievement in badminton. His love for sports extended into tennis and squash when he studied in US. He's an avid jogger when he moved back in Spore. He mentioned about ACS swimming pool where he met up with alot of people...

Thank you so much for showing your support, love and brotherhood to him thru out his study years with all of you.... He recalled most memory collections with you all, visiting your home, school yearbook, places to eat... Most of you also showed up at our wedding in 2000. Eng Chong, the bestman is also here today. Terence, Douglas, Rex, David...

Boris and I always stay with Hung Kee and Sanny when we visited Spore. We would always go for the meals together and followed by desserts. Hung Kee loved desserts. He always had by him a diary and he would write something in during our meals. Boris said we should get a nice diary one day. We obviously forgot. And now unexpectedly Hung Kee gone to be be with the Lord. The saying : if you want to give, don't delay has become reality to us. I will always remember Hung Kee as my best tennis coach. Dearest Sanny, truly your faith and your service in God’s Kingdom have touched the heaven...Hung Kee is well loved and well blessed in many ways. Do remember the biggest impact and most touching moments are always the eulogy. I learnt so much and was inspired by your speech, so is your father in law’s. I pray that God will keep filling up your energy tank and love tank especially for tomorrow so that your sharing will make those present especially those unsaved ones realised how great our God is. Perhaps ask Alfred to stand by your side when you deliver the eulogy. This will help Alfred grow to be a responsible godly man one day. Alfred will be the man after God’s heart and carry on the mission of what his father wants to do and God’s will for Alfred being the firstborn too like Hung Kee.

The cross border story here in Singapore vs Indonesian vs US...brought everyone closer and help all of us cherish the cross border friendship in your family. This is God’s blessing you have for us.

We are proud and blessed to be part of Hung Kee’s, Alfred’s and your life. This is an eternal race. The story is worthy of sharing.

You know what, I was so so sad to miss Hung Kee’s funeral at IBC today because I have to deliver a big corporate order to KPMG right smack at the same time.

3:15pm - 4.15pm. I meant to go there to support you and family. Have a good rest dear sister with Alfred. When you have a bit of time, do send me your eulogy and the video clips you have. I do treasure these and would use it to encourage and inspire others including my own children.

You don’t know how much you have blessed us too by your sheer faith and your service to the church.

Do be comforted by the Lord sister. God is the creator and master of this Universe. Everything else is meaningless except His salvation...He has conquered death. Please let me know if you like some bread supply and when you need a cuppa.
